PursuitSense
Plain-English answers

Frequently asked questions.

What PursuitSense does, what it does not do, and where responsibility stays with the business owner.

Is PursuitSense SAM.gov?

No. PursuitSense is independent commercial software. It uses public federal sources and links you back to the official solicitation. You remain responsible for registration and submission.

Does a high score mean I will win?

No. Fit Score and Pursuit Score explain alignment and feasibility; they are not statistical win probabilities and cannot account for every buyer decision or competitor.

Will the software submit my bid?

No. Submission methods vary and often require external authentication or human signatures. PursuitSense produces an exact Submission Plan and lets you record that you submitted.

Can it invent stronger experience for my proposal?

No. Company-specific claims must come from a verified document, public data, user confirmation, or a clearly labeled system derivation. Unknown facts become questions.

Where does opportunity data come from?

The primary source is the public SAM.gov Get Opportunities API v2. Public award history comes from USAspending. The product centrally ingests and caches this data instead of querying once per user.

What can I upload?

Ordinary business documents and public solicitation files. Do not upload classified information, CUI, ITAR-controlled or export-controlled technical data, SSNs, bank credentials, or material you are not authorized to store.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Paid plans can be changed or canceled through Stripe’s customer portal. Access and grace states are synchronized from signed Stripe webhooks.

Is this legal or financial advice?

No. PursuitSense is an informational decision-support tool, not legal, tax, accounting, bonding, insurance, or financial advice.
